Live Well with Dementia

According to the Alzheimer’s Society there are around 800,000 people in the UK with dementia. Research says that one in three people over 65 will develop dementia, and two-thirds of those are women.

With people now living longer, the number of individuals with dementia is increasing and it is estimated that by 2021 there will be around 1 million people diagnosed in the UK.

Live Well with dementia is designed to support individuals and their friends and family too. Being active can have a significant impact on health and well-being and can help to improve the quality of life for people in all stages of dementia.
