Tai chi combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements.
It can help to reduce stress, improve balance and general mobility and increase muscle strength in the legs. It is low-impact which means it won’t put much pressure on your bones and joints.

We have RunTogether routes in Hyde Park and Dukinfield Park.
RunTogether was created by England Athletics the National Governing Body for running and athletics aiming to provide fun, friendly, supportive and inclusive running for people across the country.
The routes are suitable for all levels of runners and involves following markers around the park making your run as stress-free as possible knowing what distance you will run in advance without mapping out a route yourself.
A 900m undulating route around the main park, easily accessible by all members of the community due to the wide tarmac paths, slight inclines and no steps.
Running through the gate to the car park, there is a need to be aware of moving traffic.
An 800m hilly route around the main park, easily accessible by all members of the community due to the wide tarmac paths. The route starts uphill, then levels off and finishes downhill.
